I build it, or you do, or your team does. The plan works either way, which is rather the point.

Sixteen years of this, before I ever did it for a business like yours
I started in NHS pathology, automation and then training, and moved into healthcare IT as a technical specialist and solutions manager, mapping workflows for large NHS teams.
In that world you don't build on a guess. A process designed on an assumption gives someone the wrong result on their blood test. So you find out what's actually happening first. Always.
